cordn User Guide

App User Guide

How to manage your events, photo experiences, and guests from the cordn app — everything you do before the kiosk ever turns on.

Welcome to cordn

Two sides, one product:

The App (this guide)

Your web dashboard for building and managing events: create events, choose photo experiences, collect guest info, and watch results come in.

The Kiosk

The on-site photo station your guests use. It runs itself once configured — see the Kiosk Guide.

First Sign-In

What happens after you're invited.

Getting In

  1. 1You'll receive an invitation email from cordn (or your organization's admin).
  2. 2Open My Events from the link or the app's sign-in page and sign in with your email.
  3. 3First time? Use the sign-up flow on the invitation or registration page and verify the code we email you.
  4. 4Once signed in, you land on My Events automatically.

My Events

Your home base — every event you can manage lives here.

Creating an Event

  • •Tap the create button on My Events and give the event a name.
  • •New events start blank on purpose — no photo experiences or categories are preloaded, so you build exactly the experience you want.
  • •Open the event to start configuring (next sections).

Managing an Event

Each event card opens its management page with everything in one place: overview, photo experiences, guest submissions, analytics, and settings.

Planning a repeat event? You can copy an existing event's setup instead of starting from scratch.

Event Settings

How your event looks and behaves on the kiosk.

What You Can Set

  • •Branding: event name, logo, tagline, and colors guests see on every kiosk screen.
  • •Photo delivery: the Get Your Photo form (which fields guests fill in, required or not), the Send to Me button, and an optional Get QR Code button.
  • •Wording: custom labels for buttons like Send to Me, Try Another Persona, Post to Gallery, and Start Over.
  • •Kiosk behavior: category browsing, quick-access sections (popular, featured, group-friendly), and the live gallery's look.
  • •Support details shown on the kiosk's built-in help page.

Changes to settings appear on the kiosk automatically within a few seconds — no restart needed.

Photo Experiences

The personas guests can choose — the heart of every event.

Building Your Lineup

  • •Photo experiences (personas) are grouped into categories guests browse on the kiosk.
  • •Start from the Persona Library: browse ready-made templates, preview them, and add the ones that fit your event with one tap.
  • •Create custom experiences too: write a name, description, and the AI prompt describing who the guest becomes.
  • •Per-persona options include render style, surprise-style mode, group-friendly flag, featured placement, multi-angle capture for better likeness, and optional reference images.

Getting Them Right

Every persona is testable before your event: generate a sample from a photo of yourself and refine the prompt until you love the result. Test freely — test runs are marked as such and don't count against your event.

Guided Journeys

An optional interactive flow for any persona.

How They Work

A guided persona walks each guest through a short sequence of questions you design — for example choosing an art style, a setting, and a mood — before the photo is captured. Their answers shape the final image.

Designing One

  • •Add steps in order: single choice, multiple choice, free text, color palette, photo capture, and a review step.
  • •Each step and option has a guest-facing label plus a hidden AI instruction that shapes the image — guests only ever see the label.
  • •Options can offer Surprise Me (a random pick) and an Other free-text answer.
  • •Turn steps on or off without deleting them, and preview the whole journey before your event.

Testing Before the Event

Your dress rehearsal.

The Test Flow

  1. 1Open the event's testing page (from a persona card or the event menu).
  2. 2Walk the exact guest flow: choose the persona, take or upload a photo, and generate.
  3. 3Review the result — likeness, style, and text accuracy.
  4. 4Adjust the persona's prompt or settings and test again until it's right.
  5. 5For guided personas, run the full journey the way a guest would.

Run at least one complete test through delivery (the QR code / email) before guests arrive.

Guests & Leads

Every photo taken at your event, with the contact info guests shared.

The Submissions View

  • •See every generation: the guest's info, which persona they used, and their photos.
  • •Control what's on the live gallery: photos guests post can be reviewed and removed if needed.
  • •Contact details collected in the Get Your Photo form are attached to each submission — ready for your follow-up.
  • •Export your leads for use in other tools.

Analytics

How your event performed, computed from real guest activity.

What You'll See

  • •Total photos and generations over the event's timeline.
  • •Which personas are most popular, and how guests move through guided journeys.
  • •Delivery results — how many photos were emailed or posted to the gallery.

Team

Working with colleagues on the same events.

Inviting Teammates

  • •Invite teammates by email and choose what they can reach: all of your organization's events, or specific ones.
  • •Teammates sign in through their invitation and see the same event management tools you do.

Plan & Usage

Where you stand on photo generations.

Tracking Consumption

  • •Your dashboard shows generations used against your plan's included allowance for the current period.
  • •Generations that produce a final guest photo count toward the allowance; tests and previews don't.
  • •If you approach your limit, cordn is alerted automatically — and depending on your agreement, extra generations are either allowed and marked as overage or paused.
